If amores porres is anything to go by this is a must see. O'Hehir's review has me even more intrigued

Beautifully written review by Andrew O'Hehir as usual:
http://www.salon.com/2014/10/16/birdman_michael_keaton_heads_an_all_star_cast_in_a_crackling_showbiz_satire/

QuoteAs for the plot twist or the double reversal or whatever it is that comes toward the end of the film, I'm dying to debate that but of course I won't, except to say that it's completely misguided and makes "Birdman" feel like an immensely ambitious gimmick that finally crashes to earth. I think the movie is far more interesting, more daring and more deeply confused than its dopey magic-realist escape valve. It is a work devoured by its own ambition, consumed by the very thing it vilifies. It's obvious Oscar bait – a mid-budget showbiz satire, loaded with stars – that decries the Oscar process, in the words of Hunter's critic character, as a bunch of vain and empty people giving each other awards for cartoons and pornography. (That's not something an actual critic would ever say: Oscar movies are often terrible, but not in that precise way.) It's a work of sparkling, witty entertainment that yearns to soar above all such things, even though its hero and its creator both know how the Icarus story ends.

Actually makes me wanna see the film now.

Spoiler
You and Andrew O'Hehir is like Hubbs and Jeremy Jahns. :-*

Maybe if O'Hehir made awful, obnoxious Youtube reviews for mentally deficient people who can't read. :P

That's even worse, then they'd have to focus on his hideous voice.

The blind have text to voice software. Don't be ignorant.

Saw this a few hours ago with a friend. Birdman was good. It didn't reach Charlie Kaufman levels of intellectual/emotional depth, but was very well acted and visually executed. Michael Keaton and Ed Norton  were standout but the whole cast really owned their roles.

Nice nice. Glad to be hearing good things, even if it isn't necessarily as great as I was hoping.

Wow, this film is so f**king good and so hilarious! The acting, cinematography, everything from "A to B" in Birdman was phenomenal. Ed Norton was f**king great too! That erection scene had me going for awhile

I think this whole scene between actors Michael Keaton and Lindsey Duncan proved to be the most raw moment in the film.
