They won't.
Things like books, comics and games are never taken into account when making more movies (not that I think they'll ever make another movie set between Alien3 and Resurrection - but one never knows). Even certain movies aren't taken into account (AvP and Prometheus for instance). And the writers of said books, comics and games aren't obliged to conform to other books, comics and games.
Similar to how Gearbox wasn't obliged to stick to the events depicted in Aliens.
