As some of you already know, Aliens: Colonial Marines will be this weekend at the NY Comi-con. Please use this thread to discuss any coverage from the event.

SEGA and Gearbox Software today announced actor Lance Henriksen as a special guest for their New York Comic-Con panel, “Designing the Videogame Sequel to ALIENS – Aliens: Colonial Marines and the challenges of scale and canon.” The panel will take place on Saturday, October 13, 2012 and will give an inside look at the development of Aliens: Colonial Marines.

From that link....what? Michael Weyland? Is that supposed to be Michael Bishop (Bishop II)?

I'd like Henriksen to be Bishop II from ALIEN 3 (to connect it to ALIEN 3, not just ALIENS) again, but making him a Weyland is just playing around with more AvP canon, and it's very clear they wanted to stay away from that direction.

Michael Bishop (Bishop II) is also called Michael Bishop Weyland? It's not my intent to potentially spoil anything so I'll just leave this here for speculation. From a studio visit report:

The subtitles for the Bishop lines were attributed to ‘Michael Bishop’
