It's a well known fact that Aliens are actually balloon animals.

Couldn't the Predator kill the Xeno without drawing blood? Like break it's back or neck?

I should think so, but I don't think it would be very easy since the xeno is physically stronger than the pred. The pred would probably have a hard time in that situation, but hey Celtic was throwing grid around for a while so I guess there's always the possibility.

Exactly. Now just imagine an Alien fighting an experienced Predator...what would happen then?

Somebody like wolf then... Well in AVPR (as much as people like to complain about it) he seems to handle xenos with ease, he seems to outmatch them in strength, and his over all fighting skills seem to be effective against them. I would think in that case the experienced pred would come out victorious close to 6/10 times, because wolf does use his equipment to kill a lot of xenos and he would not have faired so well without it. I know the aliens did act pretty stupid and weak. But I heard someone say (can't remember who) that they wanted wolf to come off as an experienced Xeno hunter, but expressed it in the wrong way using pathetic aliens to try and show his superiority over them. But I do believe a experienced hunter (unarmed) would be able to handle a Xeno, but it would still be a tough fight and I'm sure the alien would come out victorious close too 50% of the time, but I think a normal pred like stated earlier would not have as good chances of survival.

Agreed 100%. I just wish more people would understand that on here about Wolf.

Waiting for Wolf haters 3, 2, 1...

I have no serious problems with Wolf, my problem is that the alien he killed were pathetic (as stated). The aliens being weak was a plot device IMO, designed to make Wolf look badass and the Predalien that much stronger than a normal alien since it was a match for Wolf. Maybe if he was matched up against tougher aliens, he'd be given less grief for his performance in Alien vs Predator: Requiem . Anyways, I think a predator forced to fight an alien unarmed might try to use part of the environment, either like Celtic did, smashing Grid's head off the pillars, or using something as a makeshift weapon.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking about the whole environment too, but I wasn't sure where they would be fighting, for all I knew they could be fighting in the assassin's creed loading screen (basically a blank infinite space with no real environment) so I wasn't really sure, but I definitely agree with makeshift weapons and such.

Fully agreed. Instead of just dumbing down the Aliens they should have made them as tough as they always were and I bet they could have still found a lot of ways for Wolf to look that much more impressive while still NOT making the Aliens look like chumps.

I bet people would have still complained, even though the Aliens would be stronger. I just think people don't like the idea of a predator killing so many Aliens, that's not to say the Aliens were tough and super intelligent because they were dumbed down no question. I think it's hard to keep both fans from each franchise happy (even though most fans like both franchises, everyone has there favorite) and you will end up, upsetting one of the groups. For instance Grid kills two preds, all the pred fans start saying how this would never happen. AVPR, (even though the Aliens were retarded) Wolf kills a bunch of xenos, and for the sake of argument lets say they make these xenos as smart and as tough as the one from Alien, the directors still want to express their idea of this super hunter, so they make wolf kill a bunch of them. The Alien fans become angry, and leave the theatre not liking what they have seen. AVPR had other flaws besides the aliens being pathetic, but I'll leave it at that.

I'm not saying that you can't have a movie where both sides leave the theatre happy with what they've seen. It hasn't happened yet at least not according to the majority of fans. I think the whole concept might be a bit harder to pull off than we all think, but hey they're professionals, they should be able to. Who knows maybe they'll release another AVP movie with awesome moments of both species.

I use to get really annoyed over the fact that Grid killed two predators in a row, but the more I think about it, I feel that Scar somewhat made up for the other two in terms of skill. Granted, I hated the human-predator team up, but Scar managed to go on to kill several aliens (most impressively when he slit the neck of that alien crawling on the wall.)

Exactly. I never understood why people got so upset over Grid killing two Predators when, not too long later, Scar killed what, seven Aliens AND helped take down a Queen? Its mostly the people who think the Aliens should be mindless drones, I guess.

Me myself I like the idea of there being a very experienced Predator that can take on multiple Aliens. But maybe it wouldn't have gotten as much backlash from Alien fans if when Wolf fought each one it was somewhat of a challenge at least and each time looked like he had to try more. But you're right it is very sensitive and there would probably still be Alien fans that wouldn't like it.

I think Scar vs. Aliens in the first AVP was a bit closer to reaching the balanced goal.

Yeah, I don't see any future AVP being more balanced than the first film. The Predators were good at what they did and their hunting skills were portrayed accurately, but they also showed that the Aliens tended to get the upper hand in one on one combat.

AVPR's lone Predator vs the army of Aliens could have worked (in theory), but rather than making Wolf look stronger than the usual Predators, they made the Aliens look weaker than the traditional Aliens. :-\
