Great Moments in gaming

(1/9) > >>

Terx2:
This topic is to discuss and share what have been your great gaming moments. Eg Fighting your first zombie in resident evil, finishing Devil May Cry on Dante must die difficulty or played doom 2 for three hours on nightmare difficultly.

Discuss.

KNIGHT:
Defeating the first Colossus in Shadow of the Colossus, for sure.

RagingDragon:

The first Half-Life was incredible, I'll never forget playing through it for the first time.

Vickers:
For me it's not so much a moment as it is one of my first real gaming experiences on the PC.  I was addicted to NES games and I played the odd game on the PC (mostly things like Sim City).  But I would say that Tomb Raider II is my first true gaming experience.  Sure, the graphics are quite dated now but I think it would be fantastic to see it get the same treatment as Tomb Raider with new graphics and slight changes.

Nightmare Asylum:
My true greatest moment in gaming is completing Halo 3 on easy for the very first time. It took me about two months (got the game in December, beat it in February), and I loved every minute of it. I didn't realize it at the time, but Halo 3 was the first video game I ever really loved (keep in mind that this is the frist game I bought myself on my XBox 360, and all I ever has before that was a Playstation One). Upon completion, I went back and got Halo Combat Evolved and Halo 2, and have since gotten every subsequent game on its day of release. Now, in 2012, I'm finally continuing Master Chief's story after leaving it open for all of these years, and I couldn't be happier with the direction that it is taking.
