I think the line in Alien 3 was "the others were afraid of fire... not much else."  But they don't strike me as creatures who know fear, I think they, quite rightly put in previous posts, are aware of what fire can do.

I wonder if you can put a xenomorph under a form of hypnosis. I wouldn't think its outside the realm of possibility.

That would definitely be a big weakness for them but what makes you think it's possible ?

They're part of a hind mind aren't they?  So I don't think they would be susceptible to hypnosis, plus humans cant even hold them in cages let alone perform complex procedures on them

Judging by Alien and Alien 3 they are capable of acting alone, but in other media they have gone batf**k when the Queen is taken away

Based strictly on the four films, Aliens can (and do) operate on their own. The Queen doesn't have mind control over them or anything. They just simply do what needs to be done for the hive.

I am not saying that humans would ever have the technology or mental comprehension to achieve the hypnosis of a xenomorph but it is probably possible that xenomorphs still could be hypnotised by something. Its not like it could NEVER happened. They are still living creatures with a mind.

While I like the idea of control a xenomorph. They can't really "see" into your eyes to fall under your control. Besides maybe the aliens are connected to the hive mind making them a lot harder to control as they are already under control by the queen or hive leader. Unless you some how controlled the leader xeno than you could order the other ones around... Maybe.
