AVPMASTER:
Hello there, i have been a member of this site for a long time now and this is my first post ! I hope you enjoy it ! Recently i send an e-mail to Les Barany (Giger's Agent) and ask him about Giger's involment in Prometheus..

This is the answer:

Dear Guido,

The simple answer is, Mr. Giger made design drawings for Prometheus and fans who are intimately familiar with his work will recognize how much of it was used in the film. If you are still not certain, you will know when the Blu-Ray is released. We were told his drawings will be on it.
In the meantime, none of his drawings were printed in the book that was just released with the art from Prometheus.

I shared this information with you because i think you will like to know this !

I hope you like my post !

If this was old news, sorry about that !

LarsVader:
Thanks for the info!
I really hope the drawings will be on the home release.

I wonder if Giger will release them in some printed form by himself someday.

I'd say I am intimately familiar with his work and I don't recognize much if any at all that wasn't designed by Giger after 1979.

everyone on this forum should be able to tell the difference between true Giger and faux Giger. There was no true Giger in the movie, obv. And obviously whatever drawings were used were not seen and are on that blu-ray

So, from this am I correct in thinking none of Giger's designs were actually used, but he did submit drawings?

And Giger did in fact NOT paint the murals?

You my friend would have your testimony thrown out of court for conjecture.

Putz.  obv.

And you are obviously someone who will not be posting here by then to admit said dopey-ness
