Avatar Image Help!!!

Hy, im trying to change my avatar to one of the following images:

Preferably: http://demise.wikia.com/wiki/File:Nocturne_Haunting.jpg
optionally: http://boompje.net/forum/avatars/Images/Nocturne_Square_A.png

But when i type the url in the 'specify avatar url' after i hit change it changes it into the 'No avatar' Option. someone help plzzz  :'(

Nightmare Asylum:
Those pictures are too big. The max size for an avatar is 100x100. To make them smaller, you can save the image to your computer, then open it up in a picture editing program or on a website like photobucket and change the size, then reupload it :)
