Topic: Would anyone else love it if a future update disabled E kills?

I know Rebellion no longer updates this game, but I would love it if they someday released a server side option that allowed the server admin to disable E kills for everyone.

I think frontal E kills are just fine. By the time your victim is weak enough for a frontal E kill, they're pretty much dead anyways, as they are stunned and one hit away from death anyways.

The stealth kills are another matter. There should be an option to disable them. Also, you should be able to cancel frontal executions if the finishing blow has not been struck, and the victim should survive.

Agreed. Or at least if not be able to cancel a frontal E kill yourself you should be able to be saved if the Alien or Predator dies before completing the kill.

I don't mind stealth kills. People who do are the ones who only "look forward" and never look behind.. As for frontal finishing moves, I got no problem either. Sometimes the newbs will grab prematurely not knowing you have to weaken the enemy to 1 bar of health to ensure it will kill so I get out of it automatically

I agree with AcidGlow, mostly. The only thing I'd change about stealth kills is requiring the grab key be held down as if you're picking up a weapon, but other than that I think they're fine the way they are. Just watch your back more and/or don't get separated from your team. And as a bonus, from what I've seen, most grab happy folks seem to have a K:D of 1:1 (if not worse) so they're not exactly helping their team a ton by dying because they can't stop grabbing.

I dont mind so much, since you do have to sneak up on somebody, or weaken them. What I dont like is when I turn around, see the alien/pred start shooting (since my fav is marine) put 10 rounds into them, then suddenly they warp behind me and steath kill me like they'd been behind me the whole time. At first I thought it was just lag, but not when you actually do serious damage to them before they get it off. otherwise, I love the shock factor., of gunnin down a couple of xeno's,  only to have my head ripped off by a pred who, for all I knew was just waiting for me  to not be paying attention

I agree with shadowedge and psychoanomaly. I would be three times as happy if they allowed you to cancel an execution you were performing yourself or for the execution to be automatically cancelled by your death, meaning that if you didn't get the finishing blow in before you cancelled/died, your victim would still be alive. It's just dreadful when your playing infestation and some cheap alien decides to rush a group of marines, knowing well that he's planning on simply laying his hands on someone (since that is all is required at the mo) with their back facing him so that he will take someone down with him and have an extra teammate.

No, i don´t mind stealth kills.
You must deal with and stay sharp.

Other matter is the lag. I hate when the people take advantage of their huge conections and run through you to grab you from behind... and there is nothing you can do to turn around because of the lag... in fact i use to play at maximun speed control less 2 points and still happen to me with some fagots.

The double-barrel shotty has outrageously overpowered firepower, with blocking just make a marine demigod.

nope, I love them, but there should be options where you could Harvest people, or play as a Predalien, not the cheap one where you where the Alien Mask, or play as a facehugger, and go throught the lifecycle as a Xenomorph. But other than that, I am TOTALLY fine with O kills (E/X for Xbox or PC players. I play PS3)

I like stealth grabs and frontal grabs. This game just wouldn't be the same without them. There's something satisfying about sneaking up on someone and grabbing them from behind, as an alien anyway. People who do it constantly usually have a very low amount of kills. You are vulnerable while in these grabs (especially for predators.. those grabs take forever), which is why I only do them when I'm sure I am alone with my prey. Sometimes, that's not always the case and I get overly excited and grab a marine only to get shot in the face by his buddy. Hehe. But yeah.. back to my point: I like them.

When people abuse it and start circling around you JUST to grab you from behind to get a kill... that's annoying. Very very annoying. -__- No skill in that at all. Same goes for people who grab while you're distracted. I can understand if you're saving a team mate, but if it happens constantly all the time.. :c not fun.

So, would I want an option to disable square/E/X kills? Possibly. In some situations, but for the most part, nope.
