Topic: Batman vs Predator

Got a few questions regarding the very first BvP comic:

1) In this comic, how does the Predator seem to always know where to find its prey? For example, it decides to go after the boxing champion at the beginning after seeing a TV broadcast of his match, and attacks the boxer that same night in the hotel suite he's staying in with his wife. How could it have known where he was? Something similar happens when a big-time gangster boasts about hunting it down on TV - the Predator launches an assault on his house, killing him along with a number of his men (How the Predator knew the gangster was going after it is a bit odd, since Predators can't really understand English, can they?). How does it find out where he lives?

2) At one point, the Predator kills the mayor of Gotham City......Why? The guy was hardly what I'd call worthy prey. There's also the fact that it manages to kill him and hang his corpse in the shower in his bathroom at City Hall, with several people in the next room, having busted through the wall from outside. Why does no one hear the wall being smashed? How is it able to do this in, what, under a minute?

2. The start of Predator 2 has the pred kill 5-6 guys and hang some from the ceiling in about two minutes and they were all armed, so a pred killing one guy and and hanging him in under a minute doesn't seem too far fetched, no idea why noone would hear him doing it though.

They can? I knew they can mimic the language to an extent, but I was never sure they could actually understand what the words mean.

I'm pretty sure that in the comics, predators say certain phrases at very appropriate times. That would hint at a degree of understanding.

The crossover comics that are not AVP often have Predators doing things thats very different from the main series.

So, any theories as to how the Pred was able to find its prey so easily then?

Technically, Batman doesn't kill the Pred. After besting it in combat, Bats pursues it back to its ship, where the Pred Elder hands the defeated Pred a sword, which it then uses to commit ritual suicide.

Regarding the Predator in BvP always knowing exactly where to find its prey......Does anything like this ever happen in other Predator comics?

I seem to recall reading somewhere that in one of the comics, it's implied that some Preds possess psychic abilities. Can anyone confirm this? Maybe the Pred in BvP had some mild talent in this area?
