We don't know if they get killed. They could easily be asked by the captain to evac once the course is plotted.

i don't know, why fox release this pic anyway. are you feeling comfortable to know exactly who dies in this particular scene, even before seeing the movie? that's spoilery terrain isn't it?

i just hope, that they playing with us like dumbasses and the trailer did just not give everything away.
