What is the ship arising at the 1:42 mark?

I don't know about that, the way he's looking over at the chair rising, as if whatever he was doing was interrupted seems to contradict that. But I suppose its too early for such speculation, I'll have to wait to see the film.  ;D

It's about half a second in the trailer, I say its impossible to judge how the being is feeling.

I'm unsure if those engineer fellas show any form of emotion at all, most shots are too far away to say for definite, but these geezers don't seem to be in a rush when in motion, but that's what is so disturbing about them, when they're up close to the crew of prometheus and they're in distress, begging for their lives, and these engineer fellas aint gonna give a rats ass about them.
