Predators worthy?

Is the movie predators worthy enough to stand along side predator and predator 2? I think it is. But it's gonna take 20 years for it to officaly be a classic i think

I feel it is, i mean for what we got it could have been alot worse. i would put it just above predator 2 but nothing can beat the original.

Predators was a good movie. imo much better than predator 2. I actually think p2 was completely silly. An entertaining movie but utterly moronic at the same time. Too much robocop sans the robot. Gary busy... he almost appeared coherent in the film.

No, Predators will not be reviewed as a Classic in a hundred years.  It wasnt horrible, but I say that as a biased Predatormaniac.  Predator 1 is a classic because of the times, its originality of idea and creature, and its place as one of Schwarzenegger's finest performances.  Predator 2 has its flaws, but again, some originality and concept, and some great iconic scenes.  Predators is #3, another sequel that overpromised and underdelivered on an epic scale.  However, given the decline of higher education, limited vocabulary, and shortened attention span of each new generation, or the dumbing down of our society, the future may surprise me and look back on Predators with a generous approval and reguard Stans whimsical statements like, "Your ass is awesome", or "Die space faggot", as quite the thespian of our time.   Just as the new Star Wars installments failed to capture the magic of the originals, and each new CGI film reminds us of why we like the older movies with puppets and scaled down models, we realize that what makes something a classic is its desire to be watched again and take us to that special childhood place in our minds where reality fades away and we are once again drawn into this magical world unfolding before our eyes, and we get that same feeling when we watch it again.  Sorry, Predators does not have this 'magic' that you get from watching Predator or Aliens.  I dont really know if its that times have changed too much, and we're too used to seeing the Predator design, or if its just that Hollywood failed to provoke our imagination again.
