Hey. I was writing scripts and drawing monsters in Geography and Spanish. What can I say?
I declare you an outlaaaaaaaaaaaaAA- *coffcoff*
What about the titles I've listed, though?
I didn't want to give the impression like I was being over critical of ever title anyone came up with. Some click, and some don't for whatever reason. But I'll list the first thing that popped in my head when I read yours since you asked.
El Lupo (Mexican Drug Cartel Movie - With Werewolves ... sounds cool ... wish I could cast Danny Trejo)
A man called Wolf (Harkens "A man called Horse" but it sort of feels like a spoof or spin-off. Makes me feel like the main character would be 'the werewolf.' But in this film, the main character is the tracker/hunter.
Call of the Wolves (Harkens the classic novel Call of the Wild ... which in turn makes me think of huskies pulling sleds and family movies. My second thought seeing "Call" coming from a fellow monster aficionado was "Call of the Cthulhu." If I could substitute the word Cthulhu with some ancient name for werewolf (or a made up word that just sounds awesome) I could go for that. (Trying to avoid the term Lycan and Skinwalker fyi)
Wrath / Rage (Too vague)
(The) Black Wolf (I really like it. Simple and foreboding. I actually have this title written down as a possible element of a larger title involving color. For example: "White Hunter, Black Heart." So this film would be something like "
Red Snow, Black Wolf." or "
The White Darkness" (meaning that the wolf would be white)
The Cursed Wound (Sounds perfect if the main character was wounded/infected and that was the story was about. Alas, it's not.
The Beast (Two words. Peter. Benchley. Three more words. Bad. Television. Adaptation.)

Howl at Sundown ?
I like Howl and Sundown. Just not together. I prefer Sundown of the two. But it's already the title of two films.

Howl Of Friendship ?
Good title. But it makes me think of a "Fox and the Hound" Disney film about a young farm boy and a feral girl that strike up a friendship in childhood but as they get older their blossoming possible romance is hindered we realize she was the youngest cub from a tribe of werewolves that lives on the outskirts of the farm and are at odds with the farmers.
And for the record, I would make THIS film (in a reel you in with cute kids, but then ditch the moody teen/twilight angle in favor of something a lot more mature) but I just don't have the time to make a film that would require THAT many people. You know ... you'd need younger versions of the two main characters and members of their opposing families, more werewolves/more effects ... just can't do it. In the end I probably wouldn't even call it "Howl of Friendship" in favor of something like "Midnight Son/Sun" if the werewolf where the male.

Werestern
Heh. Again, if I were Woody Allen or Mel Brooks.

Howl if you're horny
I can write a movie for all of these titles. And the cheesiest titles usually make the best orginal werewolf stories I'm afraid. Here's mine for "Howl if your Horny":
A late night sex-talk-radio personality is pulled into a mythical underworld of night beasts when he attempts to aid a young woman with her personality disorder on the air. And for some reason, I would set in 1970's New York City. And would obviously have to be a little camp to fit the title. And there would have to be a werewolf orgy scene that put the one from the Howling sequel to shame.

This project sounds badass. No Country with a bit of Leone, and werewolves too? A recipe for success.
Thanks! I hope expand on expectations given the subject matter. I just have to remember to keep it simple and small. All my other projects tend to grow too large and can't sustain the scope/idea ... and they fall apart.
