Beware the Batman (2013)

All these opinions are subjective. Plenty of people enjoyed The Batman and Brave and the Bold, including myself. I'm 26 and find them both to be far more then just "kid stuff". In fact, Brave and the Bold is clearly a silver-age influenced show.

Yeah but i guess most of us really want a hardcore cartoon. gritty ,realistic animation. It's been a long time since we got that. All the cartoons that get made these day, have some kind of quirk to them, either childish aimations, goofy themes, or they are serious in tone with a over-stylized animation

How can someone judge a cartoon that hasn't come out yet? At least wait till the pilot to shit all over it.

Well The Batman was kidish (I never said it was pure kid stuff.) and it was more like pure action than story. The story and the plot was dumb. Brave and the Bold well yes, it is a pure kid cartoon with as you said a silver-age tuch. All I want is a dark, gritty Batman show (Which is even darker and bloodier than Batman TAS. A Batman show basically for grown ups.) but probably they will never make it because you just can't sell that today to the children audience. Of course there is no problem if you enjoyed The Batman or Brave and the Bold, but the fact is they are far from the real quality Batman show.

You're never going to get a "dark, gritty, bloody" animated series. The best you will get is the live action films and the animated features. Animated shows have to appeal to a broad audience including both children and adults. Before Beware the Batman was confirmed, they were pitching a "No Man's Land" inspired series that sounds like exactly what you are looking for. But it didn't get picked up. Guess why?

if he had grey hair and a beard I'd accept it, but I'm looking at him and he just looks like Jason Statham and therefore not old enough to be Alfred.

Jason Statham might even make an alright Alfred one day, but that day is still 20+ years away.
