But they cannot fit the whole book in 2h movie. Some parts just need to get cut out.

So are you saying you watch these movies and not once wonder how they get the gaming arenas to work? (talking fictional science here obviously)

I can only speak for myself, but no, not really.

I don't think it's important. We get to see a little how the arena is built. A large vault with its own enviroment, cameras everywhere, underground facilities when they want to release animals or weapons against the players and so on. I don't see how the movie would benefit from any explanation as to how any of this works. It's been established that they can do all kinds of crazy things in there. I'm fine with that.

It might be my memory serving me wrong but  I don't remember them releasing the animals into the arena?

Most of the stuff you can just assume, and the rest you can explain away with futuristic shit. There's really no point to waste time on it in a movie that's already packed with a shit ton of more important content.
