Ridley said in the Alien commentary that if he were to do that sort of movie today, then he'd have a gay relationship to spice up the ship politics a little. Could just be that, and not the rumoured rape scene. Considering Ridley has actually mentioned that [and mentioned it again in the Anthology pods], it's likely to be that, and not Harvest crap.

That's what I'm excited for. I want to go into this movie with very little idea of what to expect, the way I first saw Alien and Aliens. Let it fall on it's face or blow my mind, but I want to see something new.

I worry because it's 3D ($$$$), because it seems now that the giant Alien planned by the Bros S. will come alive and because there's FOX behind this. I also worry because seeing Ridley Scott recent movies Robin Hood and Body of Lies gave me a very very bad taste in my mouth compared to what I'm used to watch from him.

i fought scott said prequel was going to be 3D but did not confirm that Prometheus was going to be 3D? :S

Prometheus is definately being filmed in 3D using the brand new RED Epic cameras.
