No way. As my procedors said this one was knocked out by punch... in his power armor. Unless it have no termal signature there is nearly no chance for him to go toe to toe wit pred.
That's not a power armor but stimply a biomechanical suit - and the Alien can get easy grip with the tentacles, not to mean it has telepathic powers.

Their main trait is strenght in numbers and hihg durability, but agreed in clos combat predator is wasted.
They chop off humans like they were mashed potatoes!

IDK haven`t seen the movie.
A flying, tougher version of the Shrieker basically.
Quote from: Master on Jan 14, 2011, 07:13:23 PM
I don`t think so.
Quick moving, strong bite, and the attitude to jump over opponents. If it jumps on a Predator, game over.
Quote from: Master on Jan 14, 2011, 07:13:23 PM
A bit to slow don`t you think?
That's the thing that made me put it in the competition category - but it can crush bones.
Quote from: Master on Jan 14, 2011, 07:13:23 PM
Armed or unarmed? Agreed.
Heh. Both. Unarmed, it counts on the ridicolous super human strength. It throws humans like nothing and guts them with those legs. It can also literally tear apart an opponent. Armed, no contest. It would be in the ridicolously one sided category.

A bit big target for PC.
Also fast.
Quote from: Master on Jan 14, 2011, 07:13:23 PM
No way.
But... why?
Quote from: Master on Jan 14, 2011, 07:13:23 PM
It`s not moving. Dead plant I say.
It has a shitload of tentacles to count on. Also very resilient and can grow to different sizes.

It`s a bit supernatural creature don`t you think? But agreed.
Uh. I don't know how him and Sammael got up there, sorry. Got distracted I guess.

Another big flying target. The question is what have biger distance PC or fire breath.
No, the question is whether the Predator can survive a hell of flames thrown at him repeatedly, followed by a crunch. That's how the Dragon hunts. A Predator, seeing it has thermal vision, would be dazzled before, burned after, chomped in the end.

I don`t think so.
Why?
It has the surprise factor. It can use the tentacles and sneak from down under.
Quote from: Master on Jan 14, 2011, 07:13:23 PM
Big target for PC. I`d say dead lizard.
See Vastatosaurus, although I don't really know the constitution here.

Haven`t seen the movie.
Underwater version of The Thing basically. Different dynamics though.
Quote from: Master on Jan 14, 2011, 07:13:23 PM
To big and too slow. Easy target for PC.
Big yes, slow no. It does him some charge. A hit from that hammer-like protrusion and a Predator would deal with crushed ribs and internal blood loss.
Quote from: Master on Jan 14, 2011, 07:13:23 PM
To big. Dead lizard.
Doesn't matter. The Plasma Caster is not an out-out for everything. Its size would also guaranteer resistance to at least one shot. Once it gets close, fight ends.

Don`t fit
He started a new species, see Baby Godzilla.

Don`t fit
We don't know what the thing is. It can be a mutant yes, but what about some kind of Alien?
Quote from: Master on Jan 14, 2011, 07:13:23 PM
One Starship trooper was able to kill it. Predator would also be able.
By sticking a powered grenade in the inside of its abdomen - if the fight starts with the Bug spitting Lava (which instantly
melts humans), Predator's game over.
Quote from: Master on Jan 14, 2011, 07:13:23 PM
Dead lizard.
See Vastatosaurus for this. Its size guaranteers resistance to at least one shot of the caster, and since it is thrice the size of a Vastatosaurus, a good pair too. Once it gets close, it can either stomp the Predator or chomp it.

Possibly.
It is
kilometres long.
Certainly!

Not realy a creature but still mass produced murder we love T-800

Agreed on this.
I would like to see an Alien Vs. Predator Vs. Terminator crossover that makes some sense.
