Sometimes, things I say can be taken way out of context.
Back a few years ago, before the release of Resident Evil 5, I was having dinner with some good friends of mine. We were discussing the racism apparently inherent in the game. One of my friends thought that, because you were a white guy shooting down primarily black adversaries, it was racist to the core. My argument was that her argument lacked context; you play a recurring character in a series of events that have led to Africa. What are you going to do? Have a bunch of white zombies in Africa? Not that they didn't do that; I remember busting plenty of cracker ass in that game.
Anyway, I the debate is winding down because our food is arriving, and, frankly, f**k racism, I'm gonna eat. So I deliver my final argument and no-one cares enough to argue anymore. With my usual tact and wisdom, I close my argument with the most incriminating thing I've ever said, very loudly.
"So, yeah. Killing black people? Fine by me!"
