I'm really curious as to what this Egg has to do with the Aliens. Who built it and etc. Shame I gotta wait 'till September.

Sounds like it's another derelict spacecraft.

I asked him in that thread. It's a different race. No Jockeys.

Yay no Jockeys (for those scratching your head, the last post was sarcastic).

Do you think they'll turn Steel Egg (and the others) into a comic? And do you think  these new novels would make a good comic?

Don't really see it happening. AvP comics are in limbo.

I think they're wanting to get these omnibuses out there, try and widen the readership and etc.

The last comic wasn't a hit either. I guess they're trying to expand with the omnibuses and then churn new ones out.

They should bring back the teams of writers that had the most success writing the comics and let them create "new" stories.

Of course the media is so saturated with avp material it won't be long until we start running into the same problem that they had originally.  Lack of new ideas.

I would be interested in something like the diaries of the earth war or something.  A story or collection of stories of people caught on earth when the aliens invaded.  I thought that was a potential story that was never really expanded on properly.  The earthwar was relegated to background info.

Think about it.  You could have issues dedicated to guerilla warfare, the collapse of society, the regular peoples plight as they try to escape infected areas.  The initial goverment reaction when they try to keep things quiet.  Etc.  There was loads of potential there only touched on in the first three issues.

ugh aliens xenogenesis was terrible, it was like 5 supersoldiers kiling a whole hive from beginning to end, WITH F*CKING SUPER SOAKERS. made the aliens look like total cannon fodder. I get bored after the first issue
