Uh oh....
Politikon:
According to 'GOODER':
"Damn it! I thought by posting my comments on how the Alien Harvest script was a fake might stymie and close off all this silly speculation - and protect my source.
Sadly, Ridley Scott has now gypped all that. He talks about terraforming - in the Alien Harvest script, and the Space Jockey - in the Alien Harvest script, and a new form of Alien - again in the Alien Harvest script.
None of that information, NONE OF IT, was released before. So, sadly I tell you, the Alien Harvest script was the first, rough, lets-get-thinking draft of the Alien Prequel.
The gay scenes will almost certainly remain after Fox executives were persuaded that many of the fanboys contributing to the many Alien fora were blatantly a bit, er, ginger, and definitely friends of Dorothy.
Jack Sleznik, head of development at Fox, spoke at an event on Friday on their slate for 2012 - when asked by Jonathan Leake at The Times about the gay scenes in the script he has this to say:
"We're still developing the script with Ridley and Jon, and the rest at Scott Free. Brandywine are not involved in this sequel as the company no longer exists... [audience chants about gay scenes] Guys, guys... and gals... We listen to our audience. We read the fan sites. We're on the imdb forum on our picture as well as others... they want it... they want it."
Admittedly, alot of what Ridley says supports this. Too many similarities.

War Wager:
Don't know about a sex scene but I hope we at least get gay characters.
There, I said it.
Corporal Hicks:
Well if we're playing unconfirm-able posts. When everyone was debating the Harvest script being the same style as Spaiht's other work, I got in touch with this chap: http://courier12.wordpress.com/An epistolary blog; script notes, memos, and emails from the desk of a semi-fictional Hollywood development exec.
He did an article on Spaiht's Passengers. Since he's "also been a script analyst for a variety of production companies and one very large agency" as well as I writer, I thought I'd send him the Harvest script for his opinion on whether they're the same writer or not: "based on the title page, epigraphs, and opening sequences, I say ths is a grade C fake. Pretty amateur, actually".
Just throwing it out there.
StarBeast79:
Yeah, I was wondering when folks would point this out. On the off chance that was a real first draft I hope like hell that mess isn't anything like the final product. Seems like anytime someone says the script sucks, someone else shouts that they just don't want gay sex scenes, blah, blah, blah. That has nothing to do with it. I don't want that script made because nearly the whole thing was either boring or laughably stupid. Alien ants, mutated alien cats, and androids who squirt liquid out of the nipples on their wrists. lol. Christ, Eric Red's abominable Alien 3 script was more entertaining than "Harvest." If this is real and Scott and Spaights think that type of shit is a good idea they're either geniuses and I can't see it or they're about to bury this franchise once and for all. I've often said we need different things for a new Alien film and I might just get what I wished for.
I'm glad some of you have made the effort to try and confirm this thing or not and I hope you continue to do so.
