What would the alien home world look like?

The world will be dark. No plant life or any life what so ever, besides the aliens. There will be many hive like mounds all over the place, and caves all over the place. I don't know what else to say.

Just look at H.R. Giger's paintings of landscapes. Thats pretty much the answer to that question.


and frankly thats all I ever want to see of that world. Hollywood would simply not bring the Aliens world to life nearly as well as those paintings depict it.

I don't believe that. They made the Alien come to life 30 years back. With the talk of 3D , I'd be surprised if the home world (or A home world) is not in this.

Obviously it would have an oversized hive, but i would like some other life , perhaps even just as high up the food chain. A planet full of Aliens only, would be quite boring.
