A while back it used to say in the triva section on imdb that the initial theatrical prints used to have a close-up shot of Ripley's boots showing the Reebok logo (Reebok had a promo deal at the time). It also said that since that initial print that the shot had been cut out. Is this true or is it still in normal versions?
I cant see it and never have done but others claim it was always there and they can see it?
You can still see the Reebok logo on her shoes. Best shot is when shes getting into the Powerloader on board the sulaco when she shoes her skills to Apone and Hicks. There was also a myth that there was a scene filmed where she can be clearly seen putting on her shoes clearly showing the Reebok logo but was cut due to losing a contract of some kind. There was also a myth this scene was shown at the Premier Night of Aliens But its just a myth and i doubt its true at all.
