I'm not sure where to place this.
Take a look at a scene from the New Aliens FPS arcade game: :o

Any chance you can post screenshots? My PC doesn't like Youtube.
???I would, but I don't know how & a still won't look too good.
It was filmed with a camera phone I think.
Maybe some one else could help out? :-[
Just use printscreen and then upload it to like photobucket.
I've looked and he's right. Any screenshots would be terrible cos of the quality.
It's the ending of Aliens: Extermination. Graphics look pretty good actually.
I thought it might be Extermination. I'll have to watch it when I get to college.
You don't have the Flash plugin installed?
I tried and they didn't turn out right. :-\
I remember I found a gameplay vid on youtube way back. Very nice game.
That game looks fun, maybe one day it'll be put on a console or pc or something.
p.s. read the synopsis on this page, the person who wrote this didn't do any good research, he/she spelled Weyland-Yutani wrong ;D

I stumbled across a unit at a theater. It was pretty good, the xeno's are friggen fast. Plus firing the pulse rifle modeled gun is a moment an alien fanboy lives for.
omg i saw this on holiday, me n my friend went alien blasting i can tell you, it was holy, playing out like aliens, with the gun, i was there shouting all the phrases at the aliens XDDDD like when we first came across aliens i shouted to my mate "LETS ROCKKKKK!" it was great.
looks cool ;D
So yeah... I'm in Vegas right now. I discovered the amusement park that is Circus, Circus has not only a great rollercoaster, but an AWESOME arcade. Throughout, they had ALL FOUR of the "House of the Dead" games, and "ALIENS: EXTERMINATION"!!! Having been a fanatic of the xenomorphs for rougly 13 years, I actually stood there like an idiot, taking pictures of and WITH an arcade game console. Not only that, but my cousin and I pumped like 40 bucks into the thing to play all the way through it. It's a f**king dollar per life... BUT WE DIDN'T CARE!!! WE HAD TO KILL THE QUEEN!!!
There's probably no need to post the pictures. I'm just letting everyone know where they can find one. If you happen to be touring Vegas, get your ass to Circus, Circus. (You pay by the ride & stuff, so it's free to go inside.)
You can certainly post the pictures if you like.
I thought this game was all over the place! There's two full-size machines at my local Dave & Buster's in Kansas City. I'm not crazy about the game itself - I think the ammo/reload system is poorly implemented - but it looks great as both a showpiece machine and in terms of its graphics.
That game was a good deal harder than I expected, which is rather important to note when you consider how much it costs to re-enter the game if you die. I've seen a few of them around my area, in arcades and the occasional multiplex theatre. It's pretty fun, at least what I saw of it.
I just located the game in Toronto at the North York Centre theatre on the top floor on friday while going to see 'War' movie. I'll have to go back and play it sometime. :o

Anyone got the money to spare?
My brother and I played this (http://globalvr.com/products_aliens_cabinet.html) arcade today at Gatti Town.. a pizza place. We drew a little crowd while playing it.. Maybe people were just amused at 2 twenty-something year old dudes playing the game :P
The game is REALLY hard.. I think they set difficulty too high. It's a rail shooter game based on the Aliens movie. Pretty awesome cabinet.. The version we played (not in the pic) had a 42" plasma, the game played in widescreen. The guns have real digital readouts for the ammo counter and buttons for the flamer thrower and grenade launcher.
Pretty cool shit. :) The company is Globar VR.. which is funny because the company I work for was working with a deal with them for a game we are developing. I think they are the biggest arcade publisher in the U.S. now. They made a great Aliens arcade machine here.. pretty good at capturing the Aliens atmosphere in the sound efx etc.
Lucky! That shit looks tight, I wish I could of been there!
- I was at a casino and they had an ALIEN game and you had to get to certain levels....like you had to get passed the facehuggers, avoid the alien, shoot the alien, the blow it out of the ship or somethin.....It was so cool :D haha
@PatrinAvP11: Was that an older Aliens game?
well it wasnt an aliens game it was an "Alien" game....I can't find any pictures for it but it looked sorta new I think.
Old news my friend. There's some threads already around here for it.
Hence the "ish" after new :P Delete if you want, but didn't feel the need to resurrect an old thread.
I just played that game at one of my local theaters. I think I lasted 2 minutes. It was hard.
Reminds me of the old Alien 3 shooter with the replica pulse rifles...that was great fun at the arcade back in the day.

Yeah man same here.. :( I pumped in like 3 bucks probably played for 5 minutes lol.
I saw this game in a Theatre arcade on Aug 24 but i never went back to play it.. I might this weekend... who knows. The game came out over a year ago but little under 2.

Yeah, I just never see it anywhere and was able to give it a good go.... and it kicked my ass. :(
The guy that was marketing this posted a few times while this was in development at gamegossip. Apparantly at one time a "home" version was being consisdered of being made. Not a console version don't get me wrong, but an arcade cabinet that would take up less space than the cabinet they have now and more suitable for a private arcade.
Though if I remember right, it was still expensive as hell.
If they still were up for it I might buy it.
Cinema I woirk at now used to have A3 The Gun but that was years ago when I had no money and was dead litt.e

Interesting.. I have never heard of that.
i havent played it but it definatley looks fun, and sounds challenging, they hade this arcade machine on ebay at one point i think it was 3 - 4 grand, one day i will but it (when i am not on the dole lol )
That's pretty cheap for a new arcade if the bidding ended at that. They usually go for about triple that. :)
http://globalvr.com/products_ae.html i know the uk dis wants 2000 + pounds http://globalvr.com/sales_intl.html
this is the uk dis http://www.cosmicvideo.co.uk/CVA-new/products-all/aliens/aliens.htm
does any body know where i can get 1 of these 2nd hand or cheeper than this?
This is for me not for the public.
PS The link under aliens game on this website is wrong for this arcade game http://globalvr.com/products_ae.html
Arcade games are usually that expensive. It's rare that you'll find a second hand one as they only shipped a few of these out. I only found 1 in 2 cities I've lived in.
There's quite a few in Blackpool apparently.
One in Felixstowe and i spent like £15 on it and ended up getting #1 on the highest damage leaderboard.

Heh blackpool aye? been there once have to go again and have a go on dat :P
I've seen this game in a few arcades in the malls of Virginia around the Roanoke/Manassass area. It's pretty decent, actually. I did like the pulse rifle, but there is absolutely no way you can live throughout each level in one life. The Aliens do come at you in literal hordes, are fast as hell, and usually have one or two that just pop up right in front of you and hit you.

There's one at the Chuck E' Cheese in Brentwood, California. I had to at least try it, and like everyone is saying, it is harder than heck and meant to drain your wallet of cash fast. :o
Me and a buddy completed this at a holiday resort in Turkey. Think it must have cost us either £10 in total or £10 each.
I played the game at wazee's world in glendale arizona. I liked the game but found it a little hard. It was one dollar 4 one life!
I beat it with my brother at Chuck-e-Cheese at his son's b-day party... Was about a year ago now tho. :P
I play this at a Chuck E. Cheese when ever I am demanded to go, this game is fun but around the third level you are popping quarters in every 5 seconds when an ALIEN DRAGON comes along. :-\
So does this game work with MAME yet? I don't know if it'd be considered "warez" or what, but I haven't been able to find a ROM for it. If this is an off-limits topic, let me know an I'll let it drop. :)
I played once, it was pretty hard. Want to try it again sometime.
this game looks awesome!!!!!
I would defo buy this if it came out!
Luckily they have this at a theater less than 15 minutes from my house... have played it a few times and it's pretty fun. I wish they would release a Wii version, so I could hook up the Wiimote to my resin Pulse Rifle XD.
I think we spent close to $10 beating it between the both of us. It's okay, the tokens came with the "party package" for my nephew. :P

Well guess what you can buy it for only $9,850 + shipping+ handling+ making sure the fragile sign is not abused + $500 for assembly + $300 for spare parts
That's a steal! :o
this is a good arcade fps alien game, but it's hard to find these days :-[
Recently been on holiday down Cornwall and what did I find?!?!

I played this game at dave and busters with my friend and we beat the first two levels and then he got bored and made me leave >:(
I played and completed it at a holiday resort in Turkey too. It's a fun game. I just wish the Pulse Rifles weren't mounted but could be removed and shouldered like with Ghost Squad.
Figured I'd bump this thread from a year ago and see if anyone had had any luck with working ROMs in MAME. :(
I can't even find anywhere who still has this game, but I'm still searching.
I've played the game too, I was hanging around with my friends at a mall and it was there in the kids section lol!
Unfortunately my friends hate the Alien franchise. :-\

I know. They're into the
'OOhh Ashton Kutcher is sooo hot' general romantic comedy movies.
Typical teenage girls.
I plan to kill them...
Spoiler
SOON.
Got a chance to play this not too long ago at an awesome arcade in Wilmington NC, not only do they have this, but an Alien themed laser tag "arena." Anyway, I've got a few pictures of me playing, but I couldn't get any gameplay footage.

Ive played it a few times, its a fun game
It sure, is. I loved it. Especially the Pulse Rifle shaped shooting devices lol
this machine ate my change!

I went away for the weekend, near somewhere I knew had this game so I decided I was going to complete the game again as it'd been 10 years since I last did it. I had meant to take my camera and set it up to record the gameplay for YouTube but I forgot so I'll have to do it again next time I go :P
But £10 later, the lady and I finished the game. I really do dig this particular cabinet (really not keen on Armageddon). I think it's so much fun for what it is. I completely forgot it had red Aliens in it.
I got stuck on the queen in the last level. I don't remember red Aliens. I remember flying ones, and these little sucker things hanging off the sides of vents that jumped out at you.

Nice! There's a "Dave and Busters" in my city that has both Extermination and Armageddon so I play em back to back whenever I feel like blasting some xenos! It's always a good time. It's the only Aliens games my wife actually likes playing too.
My son and I played it the first time at Dave and Busters in Columbus, Ohio. We found a unit in a bar and grill in St. Augustine, Florida this past May and beat it again.
