And yeah, the Alien Queen at the end still looks fantastic.

Be it underdeveloped characters, messy plot, problematic lore or even over the top shakeycam action. I still need someone to explain Covenant's rope dangling scene to me. All I know is Daniels was swinging from a rope while shooting at stuff (because Covenant is "smart sci-fi"), the alien was there somewhere, and then it died.

After having a meh opinion on Covenant, I'm willing to just re-accept the AVP films into the franchise for the hell of it, even the really crap second film.
Yeah, Ridley hates the AVP films and possibly the very concept of AVP and then he pulls that super speed crap with Covenant, worse still is
