Ironically, the biggest action star of the film gives the rights out, but the lesser folk (by comparison to Schwartzeneggar) get left behind? Geez, you'd think they'd want the money. I know that they're not the only party involved, but I can't fathom why any actor or agent or film studio wouldn't want the opportunity to not only immortalize a known character into toy form but also get money to do so. Sad part is, no agreement means no one gets any money and no collectors get the privilege of having that character.

That's probably exactly why it didn't happen. They wanted money too much and saw an opportunity to take advantage of an opportunity. Arnold doesn't need Neca's money, he's already got plenty of his own. Neca probably called him up and he's like "argh yeah ok just do it whatever, where's my case of $20k cigars?"

I'd rather have Billy, or Mac or Blain than Dillon anyhow.

That said, I think those characters have next to no chance of being made before more predators.... of any kind. I think Dutch (and all his variants) was a one-off.

Well no, Dillon is not counted as the "two more" as Carl Weathers himself allowed NECA to process to Dillon already.

I dont think so...

From twitter:

Q: any new info on other members of the PREDATOR team? carl Weathers seemed really up for it!

A: he did? Funny, haven't heard back from him since. These things never happen quickly.

And that`s NECA`s inside reaction. In other words, no. No Dillon`s figure for now.

People want him to happen, but there is (from an honest standpoint, not what I hope for) no chance of him being made unless Neca really wanted him that badly which they clearly dont care that much for him.
Yeah....well someone in the thread kept bringing up how Weathers really wanted to do it or already okayed it or something along those lines, like there was insider information about the situation.

Either way, I hope it could happen eventually. Heck, really I SO wish we could see every member of Dutch's team made - fat chance of that I suppose but that would be incredible. Plus throw in an Anna figure for good measure.

Reading through this thread, I'm rather confused about the status of a potential Dillon figure....

IIRC NECA many times said they don`t want to make Harrigan. They believe he was a misscast  ::)

But they said similar about AvP preds, so...

it isn't if Glover wants to do it or not, bith he/his reps and Neca need to come to an agreement on how much it'll cost for his likeness

Maybe I missed it, but did anyone reach out to Glover for a statement on whether he's interested on having a sculpt made of him from NECA?

Everyone with tweeter account, please treat randy and tell him that Carl Weathers is willing to cooperate with NECA on the Dillon figure issue.  MECA seems passive in this matter. So everyone's saying is a support, thank you.

Every single day people ask Randy about Carl Weathers.
This is the answer today:

We asked him first, then dealt with a representative of his, who declined the offer. No more to say

So with this statement thereĀ“s almost no chance to see the entire commando team from the first Predator. Well, at least Neca could now try hard to get likenesses license to do Vasquez, Drake and Apone.
