Bumping this post to talk about the ending to the King Washington DLC

Spoiler
The ending shows Connor seduced by the Apple's power. It then comes back to reality, where Connor and Washington agree to hide the apple from anybody. A man, appearing to be a Templar, tries to seduce Washington with the thought of King. Washington completely destroys the thought and Connor throws the Apple into the sea aboard the vessel. I clapped at this ending, combined with the music score.

Still stuck on eavesdropping on Washington. It is pissing me off because I want to play this game, but can't get past that sequence. Ugh.
circle around and take out every guard except for the one in front of them. Sabotage the cannons during this. Then start the sequence when on the rooftop. hide in the hay bale and wait for them to pass.

you make it sound so easy when it is not.

I love Rick Grimes...but not as much as I love Daryl Dixon.

Maybe it's me but some of these mission constraints are a pain in the ass. Probably cause I have never played a game like this before.

Anyone hear read the Daniel Cross/Nikolai Orelov comics? I haven't, but from what I've heard, it seems like an interesting story and if a game was made, maybe a prequel to the AC series? Would help flesh out not only characters like Vidic, along with Abstergo Industries, but also Cross in AC3, who isn't really that developed.

yeah I have those comics, The Fall and The Chain. great reads, and being Nikola would be pretty damn cool. You get to see just how Cross was and what he can do so I was pretty pumped to see him in the game and when Cross starts having his Russian flashes I was like 'thats cool!' but i was hoping for a more epic show down...as you know..Cross was the one that killed the Mentor of the modern assassins.

Yeah, that would make such a great backstory to how things led up to the first AC game.  Plus a snowy Russia would make a nice setting.

The only really frustrating part for me is right at the end, where I'm out of the circle whilst in the hay as Braddock and Washington move away. Luckily, I think the dialogue finishes up before the out-of-bounds timer ran out.  For full synchronization, I found out way to late that in this mission, assassinating with your fists don't count as a "kill," which simplifies things a bit, mainly the guy RIGHT in front of the map thing you're supposed to go to after eaves dropping.

OOOH SHIT YEAH, DON'T USE WEAPONS ON EM. I FORGOT.

Finally playing the Washington campaign. I think Washington was a good man and probably the second greatest president we ever had. Also, his refusal of kingship was probably one of the most admirable acts in American history, yet I could see it go this way. If he had been just a slightly different person, it's possible that everything could have changed for the worse.

Very excited. I've heard good things, and the whole idea sounds great.
