Predator Special Edition

The Predator Special Edition is a two-disc set that was originally released in the UK in June 2002. It took over two years and it finally made its way to the US in August 2004 under the title Predator: Collector’s Edition. It’s been re-released quite a few times, most recently as Predator: Definitive Edition in April 2007 which just features different cover artwork.

Easter Egg 1: On Disc 1 on the Main Menu, Highlight the menu entry ‘DVD-Rom’ and then press the ‘LEFT’ arrow key on your remote control. A Red Predator Laser will highlight and if you press ‘Enter’ now you will see a featurette called “John McTiernan On Learning Film”.
Easter Egg 2: On Disc 2 on the Main Menu go to the ‘Inside The Predator’ section, Highlight the menu entry ‘Classified Action’ and then press the ‘UP’ arrow key on your remote control. A Red Predator Laser will highlight and if you press ‘Enter’ now you will see a featurette called “Jesse’s Ultimate Goal”.
Easter Egg 3: On Disc 2 on the Main Menu go to the ‘Predator Special Effects’ section, Highlight the menu entry ‘Main Menu’ and then press the ‘LEFT’ arrow key on your remote control. A Red Predator Laser will highlight and if you press ‘Enter’ now you will see a featurette called “Stan Winston: Practical Joker”.
Easter Egg 4: On Disc 2 on the Main Menu go to the ‘Photo Gallery’ section, on photo 16 press the ‘DOWN’ arrow key on your remote control. A Red Predator Laser will highlight and if you press ‘Enter’ now you will see a featurette called “Don’t Drink The Water”.

Region Comparison
There are minor differences between the Region 1 and Region 2 titles. The Region 1 features three inside looks: An Alien vs Predator featurette, an Alien vs Predator teaser trailer and a I, Robot Featurette. The Region 2 version on the other hand has the Aliens versus. Predator 2 demo as DVD-ROM content.
