Over at IGN, they’ve posted a review of the Alien set in the Alien Quadrilogy boxset and they’ve given it an overall score of 10/10. Here’s an extract:
“Presented in its original aspect ratio of 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen, the print has been cleaned up to the point you would think it’s a new film. The clarity is just beautiful, with no more dust or scratches on the film. I thought the Indiana Jones films were magnificently restored, but this film surpasses even that restoration job.”
Apparently IGN will review the remaining disc sets over the next few days.
