This is a article I wrote comparing the Zerg from Starcraft to the Aliens from AvP. Enjoy. :amuse:

The aliens and zerg both destroyed their creators after awhile after being created. They also share the same type of social structure in the fact that they have a hive type of society. But the zerg need other structures to help make certain strains, while the aliens only need one structure…the hive.”

The aliens and zerg are very similar to each other but also very different. The aliens and zerg both destroyed their creators after awhile after being created. They also share the same type of social structure in the fact that they have a hive type of society. But the zerg need other structures to help make certain strains, while the aliens only need one structure…the hive.
But the aliens need certain hosts to make certain strains, which depending on where they are located, can be a challenge. Another difference is the fact that the queen plays a different role in each society, the queen for the aliens is just that, a queen. She runs the hive and has her off-springs full loyalty. The queen for the zerg looks after little mini parasites and the drones, that is all. The 2 strains from each species that are similar are the aliens warrior and the zergs zergling.
Aswell as the aliens carrier and the zergs overlord. The warrior and zergling are both normally at the front of most attacks. They both are quite strong, but the warrior has a bit more health and armor than the zergling. The carrier and overlord are both used for carrying units around, in the carriers case it is facehuggers. In the overlords case it is any ground based zerg unit really. Well I guess that about raps up my little article for now.
